MORRISON – The annual Whiteside County Antique Tractor Drive for Agriculture in the Classroom will take place Aug. 17, with a limit of 50 participants, in line with current COVID-19 restrictions.

The day will begin at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds at 2-1 W. Winfield St. with check-in at 7:30 a.m.; the ride begins at 8:15am. The “4 Towns Tour” leads the group through Erie, Prophetstown, and Lyndon before returning to Morrison.

Boxed lunches will be served. Following lunch and an afternoon rest stop, the group will return to the fairgrounds around 3:30 p.m.

Registration is limited to the first 50 tractors, model 1975 or older. The cost to register is $40 in advance, or $50 the day of the drive. No refunds for cancellations after Aug. 3.

Proceeds benefit the county’s Agriculture in the Classroom program.
