Carroll sheriff's deputies look for flasher

MOUNT CARROLL – Carroll County deputies are seeking information on a man who exposed himself and made sexual statements Sunday in Mount Carroll and Lanark.

Sheriff Ryan Kloepping said deputies received a call at 4:39 p.m. Sunday that a white male between 30 to 40, with dark hair and facial hair, approached a woman walking in the 400 block of North Argyle Street in Lanark. He made sexual statements to her and left the area.

About 4:55 p.m., a similar incident occured on West BJ's Street in Mount Carroll, where the man approached a woman who was walking and exposed himself to her before leaving.

Another report was placed at 6:50 p.m. The man allegedly approached three children who were walking on West Benton Street in Mount Carroll, made sexual statements and left the area.

In all three incidents, the man never left his vehicle. The vehicle was described as an older silver or gray car, possibly a Pontiac or Buick, with loud exhaust.
