Crafts, Santa at Lanark Jingle Fest

LANARK – The Transformers Team will mark the fifth annual Jingle Fest Friday and Saturday with events at four venues.

Activities start at 6:30 p.m. Friday with a lighted tractor parade at Lanark City Park, at Broad and Claremont streets. After the parade, a Christmas tree will be lit, caroling will take place, and hot drinks and cookies will be provided.

On Saturday, a vendor fair with gifts, decor items and more will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lanark Heritage Center, 105 S. Broad St. Santa’s Workshop will be open the same hours at 124 E. Carroll St., with kids’ crafts and make-and-take projects. Photos and treats with Santa will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Holiday swap and share tables for people to drop off holiday items they no longer need will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lanark Public Library, 111 S. Broad St. Items must be in good condition and still work. Color copies of the photos with Santa at 124 E. Carroll St. also will be available at the library.
