STERLING – “Superheroes Wanted” is the theme of this year’s Delicious Designs fundraiser, a benefit for the CGH Health Foundation.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Oct. 17 at Deer Valley Country Club, 3298 Hoover Road. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening. There will be a short program honoring children benefited through CGH’s Pediatric Rehab Center and breast cancer survivors from the Foundation’s Women’s Health Program.
Silent and live auctions will be held. A new feature is a wish list silent auction, where bidders can sponsor items needed by the Women’s Health Program and the rehab center. A bidder could “purchase” a pediatric therapy toy or a breast cancer pamper bag for $50.
There also will be a dessert auction and cork, beer and spirits “pulls,” which are drawings for mystery bottles. The draws will cost $20 to $25.
