Muffins, coffee, camaraderie coming to Loft 112; volunteers needed

The historic brick building that houses Loft 112 was built in 1892 to be a dry goods store, and later was a men's clothing shop for more than a half-century. Most recently, it was home to Gallery on Main, a gallery and antiques store.

MORRISON – The area’s newest art gallery is adding a sweet component to its offerings: Baked by Liz’s muffins, coffee, and camaraderie will be available on Thursdays at Loft 112, beginning Jan. 25.

Jewelry, pottery, paintings, photography and wood works by 22 local artists and artisans are on display and for sale at the downtown gallery, which is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Volunteers also are being sought to staff the gallery, which opened Dec. 15. Shifts run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
