FULTON – Music, a run, walk, and much more will take place Friday during Fulton’s annual Christmas Walk in the downtown.
Activities begin at 4:30 p.m., with the Boy Scouts presenting a soup supper until 6:30 p.m. at Robert Fulton Community Center, 912 Fourth St. Same-day registration for the 13th annual Illuminated Run, Walk will be at 5:30 p.m. at Manny’s Pizza, 305 11th Ave., with the race starting at 6:30 p.m. at the restaurant.
Vocalist Mark Kapasinski will sing at 5:45 p.m. at the live nativity near de Immigrant Windmill, 415 10th Ave. The walk officially runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with Santa and Mrs. Claus greeting visitors at the windmill.
Central Bank Fulton will provide popcorn, while a warming station with cookies, cocoa, crafts, and music will be at the former Drives Building, 1009 First St. Visitors are asked to enter through the south side. Photo opportunities with characters will be available throughout the streets.
Musical performances will take place at the Windmill Cultural Center, 111 10th Ave. Noteworthy Show Choir will perform from 5:30 to 6 p.m., while violinist Sadie Norman will play from 6 to 6:30 p.m., and Dodeca from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Sinter Klaus and Miller Claus will greet visitors, and treats from the mill will be available.
