Bringing puppet theater to Odell library

Odell Public Library in Morrison continues its campaign to transform its children's department throughout April. A Thrivent Action Team project proposal written by Barb Peterson provided seed money for a puppet theater and for several new puppets. Lorna Temple, who made the curtain for the puppet theater, is pictured above with Glenn Peterson, who built the theater, and Katie Rider, children’s librarian. She designed the theater, with the help of library staff and the builder, and also selected the puppets. Monetary gifts will be used to purchase children’s books. Patrons may also shop for the library by choosing an item from the supply wish list or from one of the four Amazon wish lists. Call or visit the library to find out more.
