LANARK – The Lanark Farmers Market will open May 2, with sessions from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays at Lanark City Park, 240 W. Claremont St.
For the second year, the market will accept U.S. Department of Agriculture Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Illinois Link cards.
People using the cards will receive an equal amount of credit due to a grant. For example, if a shopper purchasing $10 worth of fruits, vegetables, or baked goods, the shopper’s card would only be charged $5.
